Welcome to Austin Veterans FC, a dynamic soccer club founded in September 2020 in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to unite soccer lovers and community members through the beautiful game, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and support both on and off the field. From humble beginnings, Austin Veterans FC played its first official match against San Antonio FC on August 14th, 2021, and has since grown into a thriving organization. In November 2022, the club officially inaugurated its leadership structure, cementing its foundation and vision for the future.
The team achieved significant milestones, including an impressive run at the Texas Veterans Tournament (TVT) 2023 in Forney, Texas, where they reached the semi-finals without losing a match. Their performance earned them the honor of hosting the TVT 2024 in Austin. In this prestigious event, Austin Veterans FC triumphed, winning the championship against San Antonio. In May 2024, the club proudly represented Austin at the National Veterans Tournament (NVT) held in Minnesota, competing against the best veteran teams in the nation. Out of 34 teams, Austin Veterans FC secured an honorable 14th place, solidifying their reputation as a team to watch on the national stage.
Beyond soccer, Austin Veterans FC is a vibrant community that supports its members through life’s milestones, such as bereavements, baby showers, travel, and social gatherings. The club thrives on unity, dedication, and the shared passion for creating lasting bonds among its members. With a growing membership and a commitment to excellence, Austin Veterans FC continues to inspire and make strides, both locally and nationally.
